Curriculum

Lower School (PreK through Class 6)
While Lower School curriculum varies depending on class level, all classes include core competency in language, reading and math. Lower School specialists include: music, art, science, foreign language, PE and yoga. Meridian’s math and reading programs are leveled utilizing ABeka math and Guided Reading. Meridian’s Lower School classes function one to two grade levels higher than charter and public school classrooms (see IOWA results), resulting in high academic performance while specialist classes ensure attention to the whole child.
