Faculty
We believe that the best teachers start by being outstanding students, people who love to search and think and expand. We select teachers who have excelled in one or more of the seven essential subject areas that we emphasize: English, history, math, science, foreign languages, the arts, and physical education. We give our teachers substantial freedom to develop individual course curricula and teaching strategies that express their personal applications of the more general Meridian philosophy. These fine teachers-scholars are devoted innovators, and they are also deeply committed to their students. They know them all personally. They set high standards for them to follow. And they offer them the individualized help and encouragement needed for success.
