Middle School Athletics

7th and 8th grade students participate in athletics through Provo City Recreation. Meridian participates in the Jr. Jazz basketball program with its own teams for 8th grade boys, 7th grade boys, and 7/8 grade girls. Sign-ups are done through Provo City with volunteer coaches coming from the Meridian community. Middle School teams have historically performed well in tournament play and enjoy the comraderie of team sports. This is also an irreplacable learning ground for preparing for high school competition.
